I've been planning for a grand total of 12 hours, and here's what I have so far:
Beach wedding, possibly at Portland Head Light in Cape Elizabeth, ME.
Halter style dress, flowy, ankle length, and sneakers, because I'm the graceful one. *rolls eyes* Dress not white, maybe a really pale blue or green.
Colors possibly apple green and aqua, with chocolate brown accents.
Hair color probably red - maybe, just maybe, even professionally done. *gasp* (I change my hair more than I change my sheets* - so this is a rather important one. lol)
Flower girl: Our younger daughter, Emily, who will be 9, yet swears she wants to do it. *shrug* whatever. lol I think a green dress for her.
Matron of honor: My best friend Neisa. A blue dress.
Bridesmaid: Well, Jr. bridesmaid, really. Our older daughter Dana, who will be almost 11. Also a blue dress.
Ring bearer: Our youngest son Eli, who will be 6.
I probably should talk to Brian about this before finalizing it. lol I'm sure he doesn't care, though. I think he's going along with it to make me happy. Isn't he awesome? lol
*Not really. But a lot.

It begins...
Facts about us:
Married my first husband:2-14-1998
Had a baby boy: 3-28-1998
Bought a house: 7-19-1999
Had a baby girl: 10-9-1999
My first husband and I split up: 1-10-2000
Started dating: 2-23-2000
Got engaged: 4-25-2000
Had a baby girl: 6-8-2001
My divorce was final: 1-11-2002*
Had a baby boy: 7-26-2004
Got married: 9-11-2005
We had planned off and on for 5 years what the wedding was going to be like, but ultimately, we were broke. So we ended up Mickey Mousing a wedding in just under two weeks, and we said we'd do the real thing on our fifth anniversary when we had more money. (Wait for it... HA! Ok, better now.) Here it is almost 4 years later, and we actually have less money now than we did then. So I guess I'm making everything I can. Thank Gods for the inspiration of Craftster.org!
I'll post everything here that I make, and very possibly some that I buy. All of my decision making will be posted here. Despite being married twice, I have never really done this before - both weddings were spur of the moment, the first even more so than the second.
*OK, and if you notice the oddity in the dates here, let me tell you right now that my ex (who is still a very good friend) and I are both very lame about things like paperwork and such. Ultimately, my mother ended up filing my divorce paperwork. rofl
